About Campbell Lodge Boys Home Father Raymond Nieman founded Campbell Lodge Boys’ Home in 1958 as a residential alternative for neglected or dependent young men. Since its inception, over 1,500 young men have called Campbell Lodge home. The facility overlooks the Ohio River on 115 sprawling acres in Cold Spring, Kentucky. Three residential cottages, an administrative building, therapeutic riding stables, a gymnasium, baseball field, and fishing pond occupy the hilly campus. Campbell Lodge Boys’ Home is a year-round residential facility for pre-adolescent and adolescent boys aged ten to eighteen. Services are structured to address the needs of our residents by offering a treatment program that includes a balanced blend of counseling and therapy, the teaching of social skills, and milieu-based opportunities for the enhancement of academic skills. The development of leisure time and recreational competencies are emphasized, as well as a range of daily structured activities in which to learn and practice interpersonal and communication skills. |
