Campbell Lodge operates its residential treatment program based on the notion of therapeutic milieu. A therapeutic milieu refers to time, service components, space, and resources, which are holistically structured to provide a constant and consistent therapeutic experience. It is a 24-hour-a-day learning environment in which all activities and events are carefully planned and carried out to help residents learn how to cope, solve problems, interact, control behaviors, and succeed.

Our therapeutic milieu uses all available staff and physical resources to
make sure every aspect of the resident's daily life is in some way
therapeutic. In other words, the environment is the treatment; therefore, every part of every day is planned and implemented to support treatment and development.
