2004 Recognition Dinner

This year's Recognition Dinner for Volunteers and Donors was held on September 22 in the gymnasium on the Campbell Lodge campus. After the opening invocation by Rev. James Ryan, the 70+ attendees enjoyed dinner from Tommy Beal and Cincinnati Catering.

David Barth, outgoing board chair from Cors & Bassett, began the formal part of the program by recognizing outgoing board members and introducing the new slate of officers, led by incoming board chair Sr. Marge Kloos. Executive Director Mike Schroth then presented two awards. J.T.M. Brian Denny and his mom Donna BallFoodGroup received the Corporate Citizen of the Year award; outgoing board member and J.T.M. employee Jerry Lameier received the award. This year's Star Performance Award went to long-time supporter Richie Pignataro. Mr. Pignataro lives in Chicago and was unable to attend, so good friend Jerry Lameier accepted the award on Richie's behalf.

Next on the program were keynote speakers Brian Denny and his mother Donna Ball (Above Photo). Each spoke about what Campbell Lodge means to them and their positive experience while Brian was a resident. Finally, the evening concluded with the "premier" of a new five-minute promotional video.

Thank you to all those in attendance - and to those who couldn't attend but sent a donation - for your support of Campbell Lodge Boys' Home.
