Shop the Holiday Market and Support CLBH!
The Northern Kentucky Children’s Alliance, a collaboration of seven children’s agencies in Northern Kentucky, will partner again this year with Hart Productions for a benefit at the Greater Cincinnati Holiday Market, to be held Nov. 14-16 at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center in Covington.
On Friday, November 14, anyone bringing an unwrapped toy or gift to the Holiday Market will receive half off the $7 daily admission fee. The gifts will be collected and distributed to the 150 youth served by the Alliance in residential care, either as gifts to them, or for them to give to their families.
“We’re happy to again bring back the Children’s Alliance to the Holiday Market,” said Doug Hart of Hart Productions. “Our shoppers are thrilled to share the holiday season with these youngsters.”
“We appreciate the thoughtfulness Hart Productions has shown to invite us back to the Holiday market,” said Mike Schroth, Spokesperson for the Children’s Alliance. “We had a wonderful response last year, and I’m sure it will be even better this season.”
Gifts should be new and unwrapped. Suggested items include stationary, diaries, or journals, hair accessories, board games, model cars, hats, gloves, or scarves, t-shirts or sweatshirts, recreational items (balls, helmets, jump ropes, etc). The Children’s Alliance serves children and youth of all ages, including many teenagers requiring adult sizes.
The Northern Kentucky Children’s Alliance is made up of Campbell Lodge Boys’ Home, Cold Spring; Children’s Home of Northern Kentucky, Covington; Diocesan Catholic Children’s Home, Ft. Mitchell; Holly Hill Children’s Services, California; and Maplewood Children’s Home, Burlington. The Alliance serves the individual needs of abused and neglected children for now, and for the long term.
The 2nd Annual Greater Cincinnati Holiday Market is the Tri-State’s newest holiday tradition. The Market features almost 100 vendors from all over the region with holiday gifts and décor, fashions, jewelry, art and gourmet food at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center, at the foot of the Suspension Bridge. Hours for the Market are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 14, 15 and 16.
