Holiday Market a Huge Success
The Northern Kentucky Children’s Alliance, a collaboration of five children’s homes serving the Northern Kentucky area again partnered with Hart Productions for a benefit at the Greater Cincinnati Holiday Market.
The November 14th event was a huge success. Approximately 400 gifts were collected for the children residing at the five homes. Nearly 15 Cincinnati Bengals wives and Cincinnati Bengals Coaches wives volunteered their time to collect gifts for abused and neglected children residing in the five children’s homes. On any given day, 150 children are in the five children’s homes serving the region.
The Northern Kentucky Children’s Alliance is made up of Campbell Lodge Boys’ Home, Cold Spring; Children’s Home of Northern Kentucky, Covington; Diocesan Catholic Children’s Home, Ft. Mitchell; Holly Hill Children’s Services, California; and Maplewood Children’s Home, Burlington. The Alliance serves the individual needs of abused and neglected children for now, and for the long term.
The Alliance was very excited to have the support of the Cincinnati Bengals coaches and players wives including Head Coach Marvin Lewis’ wife, Peggy. Instrumental in coordinating the support of the Cincinnati Bengals was Tyna Rehberg and Connie Braham. Additionally, a huge thank-you to Doug Hart with Hart Productions in addition to Betsy Ross with Game Day Productions.
All five children’s homes will continue to accept Christmas gift donations for abused and neglected children at their facilities. For more information on donating, please call Campbell Lodge Boys’ Home and request to speak to Michael Schroth, Executive Director or Holly Nally, Director of Development.
