Summerfest 2004

On August 2, Campbell Lodge staff and residents celebrated this year's Summerfest - an annual cookout to recognize recent graduates of the Home who have returned to their family and to mark the end of summer/back to school transition.

Family members of several residents also joined in the festivities and contributed dishes to the meal. Mother Nature cooperated with beautiful weather - sunny and mild - which was enjoyed by all on the front lawn of the Farney House. There were also games of cornhole and a remote control airplane for entertainment.

After the cookout, everyone went down the hill to the gymnasium for the "graduation ceremony." Two recent graduates were honored for their commitment and hard work in completing the program and returning to their family. Congratulations to Ben and Brian. Good luck in your
