Recognition Dinner & Grand Raffle
Our annual Recognition Dinner for Volunteers and Donors will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 20, in the gym on campus. Doors open at 6 p.m. Be sure to return your RSVP card as soon as possible. At this year's dinner, you'll hear from one of our current residents about his experience at the Home. We'll honor outgoing board members and welcome new members. We'll also present our Star Performance Award to long-time volunteer Bill Miller and Corporate Citizen Award to Anthem, one of our community's most generous companies and a great supporter of ours.
A new feature at this year's dinner is the Grand Raffle drawing. In past years, the Grand Raffle was held in the spring. This year, we decided to combine it with the Recognition Dinner and hold the drawing at the event. Grand Raffle tickets were mailed with the dinner invitations, so be sure to return your tickets to us as soon as possible to ensure they're entered in the drawing on 9/20. We'll announce the winners the following week.
One final feature of this year's Recognition Dinner will be the unveiling of a new membership society for those who make "the ultimate gift" to Campbell Lodge Boys' Home - a planned gift, such as a charitable bequest in a will or designating the Home as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy.
