Community Events Support CLBH

Two upcoming events in the community will support Campbell Lodge Boys' Home. First, the Home will partner with the Florence Freedom as one of their charity teammates for the August 15 "Take it to the Bank" Tuesday game sponsored by The Bank of Kentucky. Fans attending the 7:05 p.m. game at Champion Window Field will get to select Campbell Lodge Boys' Home to receive a portion of their ticket money.

Another event, The Yearlings’ "Vino Italiano", will take place on Friday, August 18, at the Ft. Thomas Armory from 7 - 10 p.m.. This wine tasting event also includes Italian food, live music, and a live auction. Admission is $30. Campbell Lodge Boys' Home was recently selected as one of two local charities who will benefit from The Yearlings’ fundraising in 2006.

"We’re proud of our association with these two organizations," says Mike Schroth, Executive Director of the Home. "These events will not only raise funds for our programs and services, but they will raise the profile of the agency and help educate the community about our mission to serve at-risk youth."
