CLBH Patron Honored
Rita Hudepohl Stevie was honored in June at the annual Voices of Giving program, sponsored by LEAVE A LEGACY, a public awareness program initiated by the National Committee on Planned Giving in conjunction with the Greater Cincinnati Planned Giving Council. Voices of Giving recognizes and pays tribute to those Greater Cincinnatians who, out of selflessness, generosity, and foresight, have chosen to make a difference in our community through a bequest or planned gift to their favorite charitable organization.
Rita was recognized for her support of Campbell Lodge Boys' Home. She was a good friend of Fr. Ray Nieman, who founded the Home in 1958, and has been a faithful annual supporter of the Home since then. In addition to her monetary gifts, she donates jewelry from her company, Don Hudepohl Jewelers. Rita became a member of our Legacy of Hope Society in 2006 for making a planned gift commitment (bequest in her will) to CLBH.
This year’s event, held on June 19 at the Cincinnati Art Museum, was the ninth annual presentation of the Voices of Giving Honors. A total of 25 donors were honored.
"These 25 exceptional individuals embody the spirit of giving essential to provide current and future generations an enhanced quality of life," said Mary Newman, chair of Voices of Giving for 2007. "We are pleased to recognize these contributors who have transformed their passion into a generous donation that enriches the community and its institutions."
