Christmas Appeal 2008
We are grateful to have you as our friend and want to extend to you our warmest wishes for the holiday season and throughout the coming year. The holidays at Campbell Lodge are centered in the gift of the Christ Child coming to us as His Father’s gift to all mankind.
Our gift to each at-risk boy coming to us in search of a better life is centered in helping him find a life filled with successes rather than failures; learning to make good decisions rather than poor ones; taking responsibility for his choices whether good or not-so-good; and learning to manage anger, to name a few. The staff at Campbell Lodge Boys’ Home is dedicated to assessing each young man’s needs and formulating a plan to help him meet those needs. The work of improving his life now begins for him and all his caregivers.
In order to achieve the goals set for all our boys, we are now using Equine Assisted Therapy as a means of accomplishing this daunting task. Andrew, a new resident here at ‘The Lodge’ summarized his experience with the horses saying “These horses are awesome. They are so smart. It is amazing what they teach us.”
While celebrating both the birth of the Christ Child and our 50th Anniversary in providing child care to our residents, we thank you for your history of gifts to our boys that support all facets of our ministry. Speaking for all of us at Campbell Lodge Boys’ Home, we are hopeful you will continue to remember us this holiday season. Our needs are many; we ask you to consider making a financial gift this year. Your contributions ensure our ability to continue providing for the needs of the Andrews of today and tomorrow.
May God bless you for your loyalty and support of Campbell Lodge Boys’ Home. The residents, staff, administration, and members of the Foundation and Governing Boards are all truly grateful.
Please mail your donation or donate online– thank you! Happy Holidays from our Home to yours!
Sincerely,
Marna Meier Zalla, MSN, RN
